1. Do you use computer very much?
Yes, I use computers a lot. I have a laptop I use for my studies, to stay connected to my friends
and relatives living far away, to research on various topics, for entertainment I watch movies and
play games.
2. When do you use a computer?
I use the computer everyday at home, usually in the evenings and after dinner. I use it to research
for my assignments and to check my emails, check Facebook updates and post messages and
sometimes I use it to watch movies or play games.

I remember the day when I used the computer the first time. I was in class 6 at that time. I vividly
remember how fascinated I was with the computer.

I learned to use a computer through school lessons. Later I got my own personal desktop at home
and I learned a little more by using it more at home. Now I have a laptop that I use regularly.
6. Have computers changed your life in anyway (if yes, How?)?
Yes, definitely. Computers have changed my life. I am well connected with all my friends and
relatives, irrespective of which part of the world they are in. It has made the research work for my
assignments very convenient. I think it’s a very good source of entertainment and with the
Internet it is a boon for the humankind. Many everyday tasks can be done in a matter of a few
clicks and in a few seconds, be it banking, shopping, etc.
7. Are computers used much in your country?
Yes, the use of computers has increased greatly in my country. It is a common household
electronic equipment and almost all the workplaces make use of a computer, like in a grocery
store, bank, coffee shop, school, post office, etc.
8. Do you think computer are useful in everyday life (how)?
Yes, computers are very useful in everyday life. We can pay our bills, book tickets, shop for
anything, set reminders, connect with relatives and friends, research, entertain ourselves, create
new things and do umpteen other things by using a computer.
9. Computers are now used a lot in education. What do you think of this?
I think it is the need of the day to make use of computers in education. It not only makes the
lessons more interesting, it also helps make the children more techno-savvy, as technology is used
in almost all fields.
10. Do you play computer games?
Yes, sometimes I play word games, puzzles or card games on my computer.
11. Do you think computers are perfect now or do they still need to be improved?
I think the computers technology, in terms of both hardware and software keeps changing and
there is always something new that needs to be added as time passes. So, in the future I can
foresee a lot of changes and improvements that are made to the computers

For somebody like me, who loves clothes, it’s hard to decide which is my favourite piece of clothing. However, I do have one piece of clothing that I love and is my favourite.

I am going to describe a shirt that i often wear at the moment .The shirt is purple in colour which is my favourate colour.

I bought it when i was coming back from  delhi after spending my summer vacations at my maternal aunt's home.

i purchased it for my daily routine wearing also i want to add some more things to my wardrobe.
It is a purple craghoppers’ long-sleeved shirt. It is made of a quick-drying poly cotton blend and the fabric has some stretchy qualities which make it easy to wear. The fabric keeps out the sun, and the design incorporates a couple of pockets, one of which has a zip so you can keep small items securely on your person.

 It is designed as a travel shirt, and to be honest, was rather expensive compared to clothes I would normally buy.
I LOVE this shirt. It is incredibly comfortable to wear, the colour suits me quite well, and even though it is designed as a travel shirt, it’s actually smart enough to wear for work if you match it with some respectable trousers .It washes brilliantly, and if you shake it out and put it on a hanger it dries crease-free within an hour or so. The hidden pocket is handy for carrying emergency cash on your person, and I like to have a hanky with me too – there is a pocket for that as well. Because the shirt is so comfy, and much harder wearing than I expected, I wore it almost all the time on my travels. This means that the shirt is now linked to very many happy memories of places .
Now it becomes my favourite item in my cupboard.

Wild animals have no place in the 21st century, and the protection is a waste of resources. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

I disagree with the notion that wild animals are redundant in the current century and therefore we need not waste our precious resources in protecting them. I believe that the conservation of these species should be our top priority as they are our most precious resources. In the following paragraphs I shall put forth my arguments to support my views.

The most important reason for saving wild animals is that they are part of our ecosystem. Every species of wildlife plays a role to maintain the balance of life on Earth. Thus, the loss of any species can affect us directly or indirectly. Let us consider species to be like a brick in the foundation of a building. We can probably lose one or two or a dozen bricks and still have a standing house. But by the time we have lost 20 per cent of species, we are going to destabilize the entire structure. That's the way ecosystems work.

Secondly, wild animals provide many valuable substances such as medicine and fur. The horn of the rhinoceros has medicinal value and the fur of the mink is very valuable. The recreational viewing of animals at zoos is also a source of revenue. Thus, the financial value of wild species is important to the economies of many nations.

Finally, wild animals have aesthetic appeal. They are beautiful creatures of nature and are a part of our bio-diversity. Their beautiful and mysterious life has enchanted mankind since the dawn of evolution. Scientists have been awed by observing their behavior. Such study has helped scientists understand how the human body functions and why people behave as they do. Scientists have also gained medical knowledge by studying the effect of many drugs on these animals.

In conclusion, the protection of wild animals in the 21st century is by no means a waste of resources. In fact it should be the most important global priority today. I pen down by a quotation – “Scientists know we must protect species because they are working parts of our life-support system”.

Statues are artistic creations. There are different types of statues...statues of great people, statues of gods and goddesses....statues of animals...,statueψs of characters in stories, comics etc....statues are made of different materials- metals, wood, plaster of Paris, ivory, ceramic, mud etc. some statues are placed in public places to remember great people and honour their contributions to the society....some, on the other hand, are put at public places for their artistic excellence or to beautify places like parks and museums...another place where one can see statues are churches and temples or places of religious importance. We can even see statues on coins of many countries....In the olden days, statues represented positions. Like chiefs of certain tribes carried a stick with a particular statue on it ...or wore statues on their chains and so on...

But the one which comes to my mind when I think of statues is a statue of Mother Mary carrying little Jesus in her hands that are exhibited in front of my high school in Mundakkayam. Its a lovely piece of art made of cement and painted beautifully.... when I did my high school studies , me and my friends use to go there to do prayers- especially during the exam season.....and the intensity of those prayers might be reason for that special attachment  to that statue in my mind .... and it has always helped me to calm myself down and do my exams well....Another reason for me to remember is that I saw a picture recently that is very similar to that statue. And reminded me of my good old days..... Altogether I can definitely say that its one of the statues I think has influenced my life very positively...
