Pilgrim - someone who journeys to a sacred place as an act of religious devotion.
Vigil-someone who journeys to a sacred place as an act of religious devotion/ a period of sleeplessness.
Mosque-(Islam) a Muslim place of worship that usually has a minaret.
Devotion -the willingness to serve God.
Ambrosia -(classical mythology) the food and drink of the gods; mortals who ate it became immortal.
Halo-an indication of radiant light drawn around the head of a saint/lightness
Conch-spiral shell with large outer lip 🐚
Incense stick- a stick that produces a fragrant odor when burned
Incense-a substance that produces a fragrant odor when burned.
Censer -a container for burning incense.
Clapper/striker of a bell-metal striker that hangs inside a bell and makes a sound by hitting the side 🔔
Shrine-house of god.
Offerings-money contributed to a religious organization.
Community kitchen-free lunch provided by religious place.
Trident-a spear with three prongs
Deity-any supernatural being worshipped.
Rosary-a string of beads used in counting prayers📿

Vicky: I know, even, there is big community kitchen and devotional songs continue the whole day.
Mona: Did you go for paying obeisance daily?
Vicky: Yes, of course,my whole family feels like going there.We go daily and my father offers something there.
Mona: I have heard that huge offerings are offered there.
Vicky: Ya, it's true.
Mona: Is there something supernatural about the temple?
Vicky: Well I don't know but I feel solace there . This temple really connects me to God.
